9–10 October 2026

Applies to: SimpleTwo 0.9.314–0.9.317 · apps: macOS 0.6.76, iOS 0.32.84, Android 0.1.126 · Checked: 10.10.2026

Changes are grouped by functional area. Each area lists new features first, then fixed defects.

Console: operations and processes

New features

  • "Current tasks". Deleting, blocking and unblocking a user, and assigning or withdrawing features, run as tasks made of steps. Before a task starts the console shows the plan: what exactly will be done for this person in each service. Progress, author and each step's result are shown in the "Current tasks" block. A running task can be cancelled; a failed one can be retried from the step that failed. A coordinator restart does not interrupt a task. Finished tasks are kept for 30 days; the period is set in "Settings → Tasks".
  • Assigning features to a person or a group as a task. "Access to SimpleTwo" in the user menu and "Group access" on the directory card. The task waits until the service confirms — for example, that the mailbox is active. A service's refusal is shown with its reason.
  • The coordinator creates a user's resources. When a person is created, their number, calendar, address book, mailbox, home folder and personal assistant are set up step by step, depending on the features they have. A meeting room gets a number, a calendar and an address book, and no mailbox; a bot gets a calendar and an address book. Every way an account appears works the same: the console, a guest invitation, SSO sign-in, the directory. Every 6 hours a reconciliation adds whatever is missing.
  • Process editor (servers tab, "Processes" card). Steps of a shipped process can be turned off, reordered or added from the action catalogue, and their reaction to a failure changed. An edit is saved as a draft and published with a comment; every version has a history, rollback and a reset to the shipped process. Mandatory steps are locked. If a product update changes the process an edit is based on, the edit is marked "needs attention". Export and import move edits between installations. Requires the ops:processes permission.
  • Console tabs carry the products' names: Secure Access, Audio/Video, Chats, Drive.
  • The mail, drive and mx roles have certificate rows.

Fixed defects

  • The buttons on the console's "Files" tab did nothing.
  • A cancelled task stayed in "Current tasks"; it now leaves after a minute, as a finished one does.

Departed employees and blocking

New features

  • Blocking and deletion take effect at once: all of the person's sessions end and no new tokens are issued.
  • The retention policy for departed employees' data, the responsible person and the legal hold are set once — on the person in the directory — and apply to mail and files alike.
  • A departed person's mail: nobody can sign in to the mailbox, no pushes are sent, nobody can send as them, Sieve rules only file messages, their scheduled sends are cancelled, and their rights on other mailboxes are removed. Others' access to their mailbox is lowered to reading through ordinary rights. Addresses stay with the mailbox; once the mailbox is destroyed, a freed address goes to whoever is waiting for it.
  • A departed person's files: the home folder is read-only through ordinary rights; a suspended person's external links stop working until they are resumed.

Fixed defects

  • An employee returning with the same login took back a mailbox that had become shared.
  • A mail-sending session outlived the person's departure.
  • The legal hold was not re-checked before a mailbox was erased at the end of its retention.

Mail

New features

  • Several mailboxes. "Settings → Mail" lists the primary mailbox first, then shared mailboxes marked "read only" or "read and write". Each mailbox's settings open separately; a read-only shared mailbox's settings cannot be edited. Shared mailboxes are created by the administrator.
  • Mail settings moved to "Settings"; the gear and the sync indicator are gone from the Mail header (iOS, macOS, Android).

Fixed defects

  • A message delivered at the moment the mailbox owner departed could bypass the rules for departed employees.

Calendar and address books

New features

  • Address books in the apps (iOS, macOS, Android), managed like calendars: list, create, rename, delete (the contact count is named), share with a person or group to read or edit, vCard (and CSV) import, and export.
  • The personal address book is marked "Personal" and cannot be deleted by hand; it has its own lifecycle — created, suspended and deleted together with the person.
  • The address book is set up as a step of its own, independently of the calendar; a meeting room has one too, for frequently dialled numbers.
  • The calendar list says when the reader has no calendar of their own.

Fixed defects

  • A meeting not yet sent to the server disappeared from the calendar; it now stays, and a server refusal is explained in words.
  • A calendar change the server would never accept sat silently in the queue; an error is now shown.
  • Calendar and address-book sync could skip changes when the server was behind.
  • On iOS and macOS the calendar under /cal opens again.

Meetings and calls

New features

  • Meeting link. On the meeting card, under "Join", a menu: copy the link, copy a ready invitation (title, time, organiser, link) or share. The same is offered in a call under "Add participant".
  • The link opens the meeting in the app (iOS, macOS, Android), and without the app — in the browser as a guest.

Fixed defects

  • iOS: the chosen audio route applies from the start of the call.
  • macOS: copying the guest link from the meeting card did nothing.

Apps

New features

  • Settings left the tab bar. On macOS — the avatar menu and ⌘,; on iOS and Android — an avatar button in every tab's header: status in one tap, "My profile", "Settings", "Sign out".
  • The Connect screen shows the status of each service instead of overall statuses; the "Services and sync" block is gone — details open from the "Online" row.
  • Regional date format — one setting for every date on screen.
  • Android: a "Media, files, links" block in group info and on the contact card.

Fixed defects

  • Your own avatar showed as offline.
  • The "offline" line did not count the unsent queue.
